I think a turning point in any story is knowing when it’s okay to look back on your past, and when it may be appropriate to “let it be.” In short, things may not always go as planned. People, opportunities, and all sorts of things can leave us unsatisfied, with no clear ending, or answer as to why. But maybe peace isn’t in the closure. Perhaps it’s learning to live with the outcome, and finding a healthy way to revisit it without letting it overtake your future. Though we should leave it alone, how bad could one look be?
